Rules:
1. "Code Breakers" is a challenging puzzle game where you take 10 tries to guess the code. Each code, is made of 4 stones, each stone is one of 6 colors (Red, White, Yellow, Brown, Purple, Green).
2. Click the stones to set your guess and hit "GO" to enter it. You will then get feedback on your code.
3. Each Black Mark means that you have a correct color stone in the correct position. DON'T MOVE THAT ONE
4. Each White mark means that you have the correct color stone in the wrong position.
How To Play:
You begin with 4 red stones (RRRR). Just press the "GO" button. If you see any black marks where the "Go" button was then that means you have some correct. For example if you see two black marks then that means you know that there are two red stones in the code, if you don't see any marks at all then there aren't any red stones.
Once you figure out how many red stones there are you go to the next color. You begin by keeping the number of red stones you have correct then changing the rest of the stones to the next color which is white. So, using our example of you having two red stones correct then the code you should try now is two red stones and two white stones (RRWW).
Continuing on if you see that you have three stones correct then just go to the next color which is yellow (RRWY).
You are looking to get four black marks but if you see any white marks, that means that you have the right colors just in the wrong spots. Once you figure out the colors you can start putting them in the correct spots. A lot of it is trial and error, but pay close attention to how many and which ones you have in the right spots.
If in the last example (RRWY) you have four white marks then you know that
the Red stones should be in the last two positions (WYRR) that will get you
either two black marks and two whites or all black marks. If you see two black
marks and two white marks all you have to do is switch the White stone and
Yellow stone (YWRR). And you have solved the puzzle.
GI Reyes has some extra tips!
The object of the game is to try and guess
the code. You start with 10 tries on each level. So, you
start the game. Did you know when you get one color that
is right, and one that is not right you can find out where
the color that is right goes? It's simple. All you need to
do is to put it in every spot, and if it says on the write
one whit color it doesn't belong there. So if you get a black
bar that means it belongs there. Easy right? Did you know
that sometimes the code is the same color as its others?
Example, 4 colors of the same and you sometimes break the
code! But not all the time. Sometimes it may give you two
reds and two yellows. So you need a pattern to figure out
where it goes.
