NeoPets Shop

Buying from the main NeoPets shops can be difficult at times, with over 10 million users the demand is very high and there are usally thousands of people trying to buy the items at once, so if you dont have a fast connection, it can often be a challenge to get food in this way. The NeoPets shops restock on a regular basis, they currently restock at random times throughout the hour. We will let you know when they do. So it is usually a good idea to get into the shop a minute before hand and then refresh until a new set of stock apperas, NeoPets has placed a refresh limit on the amount of times you can refresh the actual shop page before you get what alot of people refer to as “Restock Banned”, so refresh wisely! The bans usually last 24 hours, but some people have had a longer ban. Being shop banned means that in any of the shops on NeoPets there are no items at all present on the screen. A good way to determine whether or not you may have been banned, check out the Tiki Tack shop located on Mystery Island, this shop almost always has some sort of stock in, and if there is not anything present, you are most likely banned.

When the stock appears, you will be presented with a screen like this:-

Each item has the amount of stock and then a recommended price, click on an item to purchase it. This then brings up the haggling screen:-

This is your way of possibly getting the item for less NP than the suggested price, type a price you want to pay for the item into the box and the shopkeeper will either decide to accept your offer or decline it. While this is a great way to save yourself NP, it can backfire as someone can buy the item whilst you are haggling.

If you want to try though, a rough guide is to offer 10-20% less than the suggested price.

Once your offer has been accepted, the item will be placed in your inventory for you to use.

Other Neopet User Shops

This is a great way of getting the items you need, each Neopian User can set up their own shop and sell items at whichever price they choose. You have two ways of accessing these NeoPets shops: by clicking on the various marketplaces scattered around the map and browsing through the thousands of shops or by using the NeoPets Shop Wizard.
