First choose choose your age group: 8 and under, 9- 12, 13-17, 18 and
up. You shouldn't lie, but what ever floats your boat. There are
different forms for each one. You should put in the informations but I
discourage putting your last name, your street address, and anything
else personal. You don't have to   sign up for anything even if you
get NeoPoints. It's just more work. If you want NeoPoints that badly,
game are better. Well on to the next thing!

Shops

There are two different kind of shops. They are user created and ones
owned by Neopia Central(not user created). You will find that better prices vary. Usually a rare item you can get cheaper at a Neopia Central
store, but easier items you can get at user created stores. At Neopia
Central stores you haggle, but beware don't go too far or you could
lose your item or get kicked out of the shop! You will find user
created shops on the Shop Wizard(look for a specific item), and you
will find Neopia Central shops at neopia central! You can create your
own shop that will go into user created shops. You must price your
items reasonably or else no one will buy them. Check the Shop Wizard
for a good price. Keep well stocked, then your shop will become
popular. Don't forget to expand your shop! If you don't you won't be
able to put many items in! Well good luck, this is a good way of
getting and losing NP!


First Things First

The first thing you should do when you join NeoPets is write down your
password and anything else you might want to remember! Then you will
want to make sure you have entered the activation code or else you can
only get 1000 NeoPoints!

Pets

It's time to choose your first pet! Choose one that you like and think
is cute! You will want to take good care of him/her.  This is what the
site is all about!

Get to Know the Site

You will want to look around the site and get used to it. You will
want to play some games to earn NeoPoints. NeoPoints are the currency
of NeoPets. If you want to buy something you need NeoPoints. You can also join guilds! You join a guild because you like what it is about.
It is like a club. You can talk to other members and there are usually
contests and other fun things to do! It is usually a lot of fun. If
you want to join a guild you will want to look at the neoboards!

Neoboards

Neoboards are where you can talk to other neopians! Be sure to post in the right board and not spam! Here is a list of terms you might hear
on NeoPets:

Spam: S=stupid P= pointless A= annoying M=messages.
NP= neopoints or NeoPets
Bd= battledowm
CTTM= C=coolness T=to T=the M=max
KFC= K=Kadotie F=Feeding C=Chat
Pwn= like owned, sounds like powned (owned with a p in front of it)

NeoMail

Neomail is like email! It is basicly the same. You will see when you
get NeoMail in the left corner there will be a envolope.

Toolbar

The toolbar will pay an important part in your neopian day to day
life! Here are the different choices and what they do!

Create a Neopet: You can create a neopet. You can have up to four!
Pet Central: This is where you can get to most of the stuff concerning
you and your account, such as you items, quick ref, your NeoPet's
abilities, your NeoPet's description, your trophies, your NeoPet's page(s),
how to feed your NeoPet, you neohome, and the beauty contest. Also you
can get to the adoption center from here.
Explore: See the world and you can get to different parts.
Games: Here you can get to all the games!
World: Little things about NeoPets, such as world events, all the
pets, guilds, all petpets, help, the weather, etc.!
Neomail: You can get to your inbox and neofriends from here.
Shop: You can get to the marketplace and all the neopian central
shops! You can get to items, your shop. guilds, actions, the notice
boards, shop wiz, battledome, soup kitchen, NeoPets merchaindies,
price changes, trading post, money tree, safety deposet box, and your
neohome.
Boards: You can go to the neoboards, and get to the 13  different boards!
News: You can keep up to date with all the recent NeoPets  updates!
Login: Login to a different account or to get into your account.
Logout: You can log out of your account.

Have Fun

Well the rest is up to you! You have a lot of freedom! Just don't
abuse it! Follow all of the rules! Remember you can have up to 5
accounts but they should be used for galleries and such!
