|NeoPets Game Guides – Tug-O-War|
How to Play
To play Tug-o-War, its like the real life game. Pull someone into the mud, water etc. To do this you must keep pressing X and Z buttons on your keyboard. You should press niether to fast nor to slow. Ususally when you press to fast you end up getting in dragged in some how and usally when you press to slow, the enemy overpowers you. I find it best to keep it in the middle, that way your character dosn’t trip over his feet or anything.
In the game, you also get clouds. These clouds will have 3 random letters in it. Press these letters in the order they are shown and it disables your enemy for a second or two, giving you an advantage. What I found best was to, keep your fingers on the Z and X keys and just look at the screen. Make sure you type the letters in fast enough though or else your enemy will have the chance to disable you for a while!
The levels play out as it follows, they go through all the characters in the game. Then the level gets harder. Like, you will have to defeat Ramoset, Horak etc. all the characters then you go to a new level and you defeat all the same characters again. It will just keep going on and on until you die. Also some characters are harder then the others. Truggdon is pretty easy to defeat, dont get scared cause hes huge and green, if you can beat Brucey B. you can defeat him! ^_^
Have you been playing the game forever and had to stop because your fingers got really sore? Well if that happens to you, just right click on the game with your mouse. It will pause the game untill your fingers feel like they have to keep pounding in the keys again.
These are the passwords for the special characters in the game.
|– YOUR OPPONENTS –|
Thiebos tries to make up for his lack of strength and speed with flair and style. His pre-match ritual often consists of dancing in a circle with a piece of week-old Pyramibread balanced on his head. Despite this odd ritual, Thiebos is still rarely able to come away with a victory….
Khadir’s approach towards Tug-O-War can be summarised in two words: brute force. This contestant’s sheer girth gives him a distinct advantage against much smaller and weaker opponents. However, Khadir isn’t exactly the intellectual type, so sometimes during a match his mind will have a tendency to wander… that’s when you’ll want to make your move!
Known throughout The Lost Desert as a strategic wizard, Ramset has set her sights on mastering Tug-O-War. “As we all know,” Ramset likes to say, “it’s not about who’s the biggest or the strongest, it’s about balance and leverage, and using your opponent against themselves.”
Horak is a notorious cheater who’ll do anything to get the upper hand. Whether it’s greasing her opponent’s end of the rope or wearing a backpack full of weights and placing a giant magnet in a bush behind her, Horak knows every dirty trick in the book.
This enormous extraterrestrial is one tough customer; you’ll definitely need to be on your toes to beat him! Combining awesome strength with grit and determination, Truggdon has sent many a challenger tumbling into the water. However, this massive alien isn’t very fleet of foot, so if you can use your quickness to get a jump on him, you might have a chance!
Who is this mysterious Jetsam? What is his connection with Dr. Sloth??? Who knows, but one thing is for certain… he isnt going to give up easily when it comes to Tug-O-War!
